NatureUganda NatureUganda (NU) is the branch of the East Africa Natural History Society (EANHS) in Uganda.

EANHS was set up in 1909 and thus the oldest conservation organization in East Africa. NatureUganda (NU) is the oldest and leading local conservation organization for endangered species and their habitats in Uganda. The goal of the society has always been to promote the understanding, appreciation and conservation of nature. The work of the organization combines science and research with local inn

The long term goal is to create resilience to climate variability and improve the lives of the rural poor. Our membership base has been essential in supporting the institution through networking, promoting its vision and advocating for good policies to conservation the environment. The membership helps us amplify policy concerns in the Environment and Natural Resources Sector enabling the society to contribute to policy development and implementation.
