Activity: Parents' Meeting and Distribution of Periodic Health Education Materials
A meeting was conducted with parents in the Katanga slum community to discuss issues affecting the health and well-being of their children and to encourage greater parental involvement in supporting healthy practices at home.
During the activity, children received periodic health education materials designed to improve their knowledge of personal hygiene, disease prevention, nutrition, and other essential health practices. Parents were encouraged to review the materials with their children and reinforce the health messages at home.
The meeting provided an opportunity to engage families, address their questions and concerns, and strengthen collaboration between the community and the program in promoting the health and well-being of children.
