Frontline took a different path in 2020 to see greater impact in the lives of street connected children. We decided to focus on working with fewer children but have consistent follow-ups upon resettlement. 8 children were reintegrated back into their families. We are currently actively following up on 3 of those children and monitoring progress. The children are doing well and have fully settled back into their homes.
One of the boys below enrolled in welding as means of empowering him and creating a sustainable future for him.

As part of the street connected working group, let's join hands to see that these precious souls have a safe place to go/stay

With the lockdown in place, the lives of street connected children are in jeopardy. KCCA together with CRANE members planned to see that the children connected to the streets are rescued during this period. The rescue started on the 29th of June at Nakivubo Blue Primary school with 160 boys.

A lot of support is still needed to see that these and more children are safe and eventually resettled back into families.

Some of the ways you can support; volunteering if you're a social worker, food relief, financial, beddings and clothing, prayers
