The first general-purpose electronic computer weighed about 30,000 kg! 😳

Oh yes… 30,000 kg!

The ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) was completed in 1945 and publicly introduced in 1946. It occupied roughly 1,800 square feet and contained around 17,000 vacuum tubes.

And what did it look like?

Less like the computers we know today… and more like an entire room filled with industrial equipment! 😂

Fast-forward to today…

From a 30,000 kg machine occupying an entire room…

to a computer in the palm of your hand.
