liebe Follower dieser Seite,
schon ein paar Mal hatte ich euch von dem Projekt Village of Hope foundation Uganda berichtet und von Abdul, dem Mitbegründer, der aus religiösen Gründen nach Deutschland fliehen musste.
Gemeinsam hatten wir die GofundMe-Seite für Village of Hope ins Leben gerufen und mit den bisher gesammelten Spenden konnte sein Bruder Ismail vor Ort endlich den so dringend benötigten neuen Rollstuhl für den querschnittsgelähmten Derick kaufen und Kleidung für die Kinder. Wie sehr sie sich darüber gefreut haben, seht ihr auch in dem Video. 😊🥰
Im Namen von Abdul, seinem Bruder, allen Helfern vor Ort und den Kindern von Village of Hope sage ich nochmals vielen lieben Dank für die Spenden, die das ermöglicht haben.💛🌟

Sudan is in deep crisis.

After months of fighting, the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) have captured El Fasher, the last major city in Darfur.

Witnesses say hundreds of men and boys were killed or taken away, and many families are still missing their loved ones.

Homes were burned, hospitals were attacked, and food and medicine have almost run out.

The UN warns of ethnic cleansing and says millions of people could face famine if help doesn’t reach soon.

Looking at this video reminds me of my journey growing up in a very challenging community where, even to this day, water sources are scarce. Reflecting on the past makes me hopeful that I can make a difference in the lives of the orphaned children in my community.
