Ba Taata

Ba Taata A place where we head-start programs working to reconnect fathers and families through trying to get absentee fathers back into the parenting game....

Many relationships don’t have a particular nor obvious characteristic or standard. Fatherhood has but the quality and status of a marital relationship may not obviously translate into a kind of fatherhood quality. Here’s a place where human relationships can become useful for the betterment of all childhoods as we strive to enhance our fatherhoods. All fathers deserve the freedom to build a meanin

gful, connected and custodian life of their children. Fatherhood Uganda ignites the impulse to act, helping fathers realize that if they get involved they can make better things happen on their own terms. Fatherhood Uganda will remind us that so much that will improve our lives and other people’s lives will depend on parental relationships and not writing parenthood off. Marital relationships, however well-intentioned will always struggle to respond to the complex reality of the child/children and to the fine grain of parenthood without the initiative awakened to provide first-hand experience of the current ideal functioning of fathers. Mission:
We aim to engage the public, promote the interests of fathers in particular through advocacy, education and service relating to responsible fatherhood. We build protections, benefits, a voice and solidarity for the changing parenthood to make fatherhood gently effective and a fair-go. To this end we seek to build the capacity of fathers to be financially and emotionally involved in the lives of their children and families by being loving, compassionate and involved parents. Overview:
We are a free membership organization of fathers including prospectives. We provide many of the benefits like;
Educating society on the important role dads play,
Equipping institutions with resources and training to help them serve fathers
Engaging in partnerships across all sectors to promote responsible fatherhood through events, workshops and educational resources and we are a new kind of union in Uganda. We don’t charge dues, since our social purpose businesses keep the doors open building paternal power and creating a new social safety net that actually works for our members. We will equip practitioners and stakeholders with applicable information to provide effective support and services for fathers and families. Fatherhood Uganda is a resource to assist parties in efforts to promote and support the field of responsible fatherhood by exploring, organizing and disseminating information. Products
Educating fathers, providing fathers with counseling, legal services to the extent of litigation, and help to paternal rights exercise. Through its media campaigns, website, call center and professional and community outreach efforts. Our story is about the change that happens when you share the deepest motivations of your fatherhood with: (a) the groping - eager but diffident, or hopeful but confused, who yearn for more models and less critics; (b) the downcast, desultory, who throw up their hands In utter despair and say, whats the use and (c) The self-centered, self-conceited whose mind assure them that destiny will see to it that they shall wake up one morning celebrated as fathers.
