Future Hope Foundation Uganda is a community based organisation established in September 2011 by a group of youth aimed at improving the livelihoods of marginalised communities in Kisoro District South WesternUganda.The organisation was officially registered in April 2012 with Reg No: DGCS/451/2012. FUHOFU has a strong governance structure with the General Assembly as the policy making body to w
hich the Board reports. The Board members are elected during annual general assembly. The Board is composed of Chairman, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and 4 members. It is responsible for making decisions and approving development plans. The management structure has the Programs coordinator as the head of the Secretariat and reports to the Board. She is supported by 4 experienced staffs as accountant, project officer and assistant project officer and supportive staffs. Minimize the problems associated with people’s health and mothers for proper growth of children and reduction of poverty levels in the district through promotion of income generating activities.
2. Empowerment of the youth in the community through skills development to help them handle day to day challenges and become self reliant.
3. To create awareness on HIV/AIDS and ensure the strengthening of the referral systems to enable people access health services in the health facilities.
4. To strengthen collaboration with government of Uganda through local government structures and other partners in supporting the marginalized communities to enhance sustainable development.
5. To ensure environmental protection through tree planting for sustainable development
