Bridging Worlds: Zoom Workshops Changing Lives in Rural Uganda
Every week in our rural Ugandan communities, something powerful unfolds. Mothers gather with their children around a single laptop, connecting live with educators, entrepreneurs, and mentors from around the world.
They learn business skills. Their children discover technology. And most importantly they dream together.
From soap-making to digital literacy, these workshops are helping families rise out of poverty, one Zoom call at a time.
These women are not alone. They come alongside their children, who simply listen, learn, and dream. Many of these young ones have never seen a computer before. Some have never spoken to anyone outside their village.
They learn alongside their mothers. They laugh, smile, and even get a chance to speak and when they do, their joy is contagious. At the end of each session, children rush to wave at the camera, greet the international guests, and share their love in innocent, heartfelt ways.
