2. MISSION:
To raise the living standards of young people through the promotion of sustainable development, life-long education, personal development and entrepreneurial skills. Caring Hearts Uganda is a registered non Government Organisation that reaches Youths in Rural Ugandan communities by providing sanitary tow
els to girls and teaching them about HIV/AIDS and how it can be prevented.We also reach out to the the youths in urban areas and talk to them about the Dangers of Drug abuse and how it can be prevent.
3. a) To forge love, unity and co-operation among the youth and other community members;
b) To research and avail empirical information that will enable young people to make better-informed decisions for a better living;
c) To promote life skills and apprenticeship training for youth. d) To ensure protection and promotion of the rights of young people as enshrined in the national and international human rights instruments
e) To prevent the use of drugs and adverse effects of drug abuse on young people
f) To rehabilitate and improve the welfare of the children and other young people that have been traumatized by early bereavement, drug abuse, human rights abuse and exploitation
g) To promote Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health
h) To promote awareness on HIV/AIDS epidemic, social cultural, spiritual and moral development among the youth. i) To motivate self-reliance and literacy among the youth and girl-children
j) To champion and strengthen community-Based environment rehabilitation and protection programs
k) To collaborate with other CBOs (Community Based Organizations), NGOs, or institutions with similar objectives
l) To solicit material and/or financial assistance from donor organizations or agencies for purposes of implementing any developmental activities in Uganda. m) To undertake any other activities as the organization may from time to time consider consistent with the above objectives.
