40 Days Over 40 Smiles Foundation (40-40) is a Kampala based independent, youth-led, charity organisation. We are committed to helping vulnerable children and communities to access quality, all-round education support and entrepreneurial training aimed at self-sustainability. Our model greatly hinges on the use of social media as a platform for raising awareness on pertinent issues in our communi

ty and subsequently find solutions. We also use fun-social events to inspire a socially-conscious movement of youths who contribute to our cause. The idea is for youths to take responsibility for social-economic change within their communities.

Keeping our children safe starts with teaching them how to navigate the world around them. 🚸

For one of our latest sessions at Merowa, we partnered with Consult Afrika usalama to talk to them about road safety. It was a hands-on, practical session showing the kids how to use roads responsibly every single day.

In a country where traffic and road navigation pose daily risks, equipping young learners with basic road rules is life saving. Beyond just staying safe, we want them to become young advocates who speak up for safety in their own communities.

A huge thank you to Usalama for partnering with us and making learning so engaging for the kids!
