Civic Response on Environment & Development CRED has four specific objectives as follows:

1. Relevant and timely policy research across the organization’s programmatic strands

CRED is non-profit making research and advocacy organization that works to promote the relevance of public policy to the needs of the people through advocating for a governance framework that upholds values of transparency and accountability. The overall objective of CRED is to promote the relevancy of public policy and law to the needs of the people through advocating for a governance framework t

hat upholds democratic principles, values of transparency and accountability, constitutionalism and rule of law. Advocacy that fosters the utilization and implementation of CRED research and novel ideas in policy formulation and implementation
3. Capacity building initiatives and provision of legal advise to empower citizens to demand accountability and good governance in public affairs; and
4. Build and strengthen CRED as a relevant and credible institution working with and for communities at all levels.
