Kulika Uganda Kulika Uganda, an NGO founded in 1981 is a leading organization in Uganda promoting sustainable organic agriculture and providing scholarships.

Kulika Uganda is an Indigenous NGO having been established in 1981 in the UK as a grant-making charitable trust specialising in the provision of educational scholarships for East African students. More recently Kulika has developed its own operational programmes in Uganda. Kulika’s major activity is to support community development through the implementation of programmes in the areas of sustainab

le organic agriculture training and farmer to farmer extension; vocational skills training; and scholarship administration. The programmes empower individuals, families and communities to transform their livelihoods and to manage sustainable development. Kulika is also engaged in business enterprises as a way of deepening social impact as well as generating revenue for the Organisation. The business enterprises also empower Kulika’s wide network of small holder farmers who are located in various parts of the country. Currently, the major product on sale is Katu honey.
