The National Youth Think Tank is a national research, advocacy and policy think tank, established to address governance and public policy concerns, primarily in Uganda, but with a continental focus as well. The Think Tank was founded on the premise to elevate people’s desire and aspirations to take responsibility in advancing youth issues. Since Uganda is a predominantly youthful country, it is ne
cessary to create avenues that directly address challenges faced by the youth. Examples of these are unemployment, leadership, and access to higher education, quality medical care and capital. The organization is politically neutral, since it wants to give the entire Ugandan youth the chance to let its various views be heard in Parliament. Therefore, the organization does not discriminate based on political preferences and represents its members without distorting their perspectives.
