Imagine what the world would be like if we all can share what we have with others! Would not the world be a better place for all?
Friends Jam Network Uganda a Global Aroma Network Ministry has not only preached the gospel of love by word, but has also reached out to the vulnerable of its community with the love of God by actions through Back to School educational sponsorships, Feeding the poor, Supporting the young girl adults under sociocultural abuse and Small scale business initiatives.
The team of 7 and other 3 not in this photo, are so far the beneficiaries of (FJN) education sponsorship and young girl adults rehabilitation program. Having many more on the waiting list due to limited resources. Special thanks goes towards our Chinese families and individuals, mainly Pr. Shaka’s wife Mrs. Carrie Chan who have realized this need.
Jovia Naduttu on the right below is the first fruit of our vulnerable children education sponsorship program: Age: 13, School Level P.6, S*x: Female: Currently staying with her ground Mother. She ran away from her father for being beaten a lot because of her habits of stealing things and other complex parental relationship issues that endangers her life. When we met Jovia she was not in school. It was too hard to meet her basic needs and to cope up with other children because of her previous bad behaviors. She had sexual habits, stealing, lying and fighting habits. Jovia is now back to school by the help of a loving family from China through Friends Jam Network Child Sponsorship Program. And her transformed life testimony encourages many other vulnerable children in our neighborhood because all neighbors knew her.
It’s almost two years since we determined to resume supporting some of our community vulnerable children together with a few other young girl adults that are under sexual abuse, family and community rejection, premature marriages, addictions, prostitution, and school dropouts. Majorly brought by poverty, insecurity, family abuse, self hate, cultural and religious beliefs. The Slum Children's Club: Nansana-Kabulengwa Uganda Program

We develop children’s talents to fundraise for both their education and basic needs, and hopefully that this could become their professional work or service in future
Director: I’ve always hesitated to begin this charity project because I thought there were so many charity organizations everywhere in the world even in my own community that made me feel I was insignificant in this assignment. However, I came to understand that all charity organizations have their specific goals and restrictions that would only meet the needs of those they have prepared for. In fact even the greatest organization in this world i.e. (UN) or (UNICEF) cannot carter for the needs of the all world even less for just one country. If so there would be no more poor people in the so called super power countries of this world. Instead, there’re so many poor people in America, China, Russia, Britain and all over the world. When we consider the poor of the entire world and the donations and support that go towards them, it may not even reach 30%. Which means the rest of the world’s vulnerable are left poor and helpless. That’s the very reason why we all have a chance to do something. Until I started, nobody supported no matter how I poke about it! And now the story of Jovia and the others girls is changing many lives.
Uganda, a country with over 8 million people living on less than two dollars a day, still very much grapples with the socio-economic challenges of illiteracy, poverty and disease. Access to the basic necessities of life like healthcare, education, food and shelter for many households remains a daunting problem. Slum areas and poor rural communities are affected most. Children from the country’s poor population for instance find it strenuously difficult to attain an education. Several children are completely out of school while those who try to keep in school don’t go any far. School dropout rate is at 71%. Children drop out of school not by choice but circumstances and lack of which would be simple items like a pen or book or school fees.
The problem is that, the semi literate like the illiterates alike, hardly have any practical skills to break the vicious cycle of poverty which renders them vulnerable. With seemingly no bright future ahead of them, school dropouts are entangled in drug abuse activities like alcoholism and smoking, and various moral and sexual abuse.
Friends Jam Network Uganda (FJN) is Mainly a Musical Program that advocates the betterness of a Ugandan vulnerable Child through building their natural talents and gifts to build their ability for a better future. If possible obtain an education!
