📣 Apply Now: FORestore International Training Mobility in Padova Italy
(28 Sept – 2 Oct 2026).
UYSTO is looking for educators and learners from locally here in Uganda to join a 5-day training course to explore innovative approaches to sustainable forest management and digital vocational education.
The training is part of the FORetore ERASMUS+ Capacity Building project in Vocational Education and Training (VET) funded by EU implemented under the consortium level. The project tackles the urgent global challenge of deforestation by focusing on sustainable forest management, restoration techniques, and development of green skills.
The training will provide:
✔️ Insights into the project, its objectives, and the partner organisations
✔️ Interactive workshops and Masaive OPen Online Courses (MOOC) -based learning sessions to strengthen knowledge and practical skills.
✔️ Study visits and hands-on learning experiences showcasing good practices
✔️ Collaborative group work, networking opportunities, and intercultural exchange with participants from different countries
✔️ Reflection, evaluation, and recognition of learning through certification
Who is eligible to apply for this opportunity ?
Educators – to gain practical skills in using the platform and learn how to deliver the course locally or within their countries.
Learners – to test the platform and provide valuable feedback on the learning experience and educational content.
Requirements:
1.English B1+
2.National ID.
3.Ready with a valid passport
4.Quality CV and academic transcripts 5. One page of motivational letter
6. The applicants should be Ugandans and PhD students of forestry
