Our Story

Opportunities for Education and Youths Empowerment Program Uganda(OPEYEP Uganda) is a community development oriented organization, the nature of which is non profit and non government entity whose operation and service delivery are based on the notion that educating and empowering the youths, orphans and people with disabilities is the best way for restoring peace and a democratic way of life, serving God and the world we are living in.

The primary purpose for this organization is to provide education, basic health facilities and economic empowerment opportunities to the current and upcoming disadvantaged/isolated youths, orphans and people with disabilities who are commonly affected by the negative impacts of absolute poverty and increasing death rate of bread winners in different families due to HIV/AIDS scourge and other natural calamites or unfore seen circumstances.

This purpose will be achieved by collecting funds, domestic and health facilities, scholastic and other education materials from good samaritans, poorest community well wishers, government aided service organizations and donars worldwide. And ultemately distributed to the intended beneficiaries through local authorities, churches and other religious institutions thus improving the youths’ economic status and quality of life which is essential in the field of social and economic development.
