SILENT CRY OF AFRICAN GIRLS

Our story begins after working ten years of serving children of all gender under Open Heart Orphanage Ministry and we gone deep into lives of those silently suffering girls on the continent of Africa whose needs are not at all addressed, girls apart from boys are differently in the way how they grow, their life style and needs differ from boys. Pads Pads are basic needs for girls however in Uganda it is not seen as a need because parents and husbands do not have money to separate into buying pads at the same time when they are starving for food. Pads in Uganda can be bought at less a dollar- 2$ somehow cheap and clean , a pack of pad compose of 7-8 pads. Girls end up using poor quality dirty clothes, picked from rubbish pits and when they have them from old clothes some do not have even soap to wash them well leading to diseases and bad smell. Yet when girls do not get pads in time things happens; a). uncomfortable when at home This can be when a girl walking and doing domestic work but she in fear that any time periods can be seen hence causing shame , and it happens that poor things girls use in Africa can any time drop because the things used cannot attach well on panties leading to uncomfortable. b). uncomfortable when at school Due to uncomfortable at school and fear of shame, many girls in Uganda miss school, they fail exams due to absenteeism and leave school completely yet in Uganda studying is now the remaining hope for poor girls. School is not like home whereby you can go and change clothes if leakage is seen , you may find that if girls can have at least a pack of pads she can change any time she feels it is full. Students especially boys see it as laughing matter if leakage is seen Panties/knickers Panties are another basic needs for girls in this many do not realize it yet when Girls are padding panties/knickers is a must have. They can be bought at less dollar- 2$ each. In Uganda you may find that the majority of girls do not have panties to wear and use during their periods time. Another number of girls have 1-3 panties to use which is not enough to sustain period process and even wearing them everyday, having 1-3 panties means that they are used a lot of time and that can result into tore up easily living many girls without one or the tore up ones. Half petticoats and pettipants These are actually very secure and comfortable when it comes to girls . the half petticoats thickens transparent clothes and that brings comfort. Pettipants are secure that many are tight stretch, leaving no worries for girls even when they fall, and also r**e cases are common in Uganda but if girls acquire these secure comforted cloths they can be happier and feel safe .These are bought at 2-10$ each
