📌Sport and play are not about performance they are about creating experiences that help young people learn, reflect, and apply skills in their everyday lives.💯

During her visit and engagement with different stakeholders under the , Johanna Käser from the led a teacher's training focused on inclusive and interactive learning approaches. The sessions emphasized shifting the focus from teaching to the learning process, recognizing that learners engage differently through writing, listening, movement, and structured thinking and that effective learning happens through active participation and interaction.

Through practical, play-based activities, teachers experienced how these methods can enhance participation, strengthen life skills, and create more inclusive classrooms.

These engagements continue to support teachers and stakeholders in promoting learning environments that respond to diverse learner needs, ultimately contributing to the holistic development of young people for education, employment, and meaningful participation in their communities.

🎥Stepping into the new week, we’re still carrying the energy from the one-day Summit 2026, where powerful conversations on sport and mental health came alive, and young people, experts, and partners came together with one shared purpose: building stronger, healthier communities.

Moments like these remind us it was more than just an event—it reflects six years of impact, connection, and using sport as a tool for healing, resilience, and hope.

📌HAPPENING NOW: Addressing the Street Children Phenomenon in Kampala – Protect, Not Punish: From Pain to Clear Action

We were proud to join fellow organizations under the Child at Risk Action Network (CRANE) to mark this important day, shining a light on the realities faced by street-connected children and advocating for solutions rooted in care, protection, and opportunity, not punishment.

As a network of organizations working directly with street-connected children, we continue to amplify voices, share lived experiences, and drive collective action toward lasting change.

From powerful stories to unified calls for action, the day was a strong reminder that meaningful impact happens when we come together with purpose.

Because every child deserves protection, support, and a future worth believing in. ✨

Standing together for dignity, protection, and hope 🤍

In between the conversations and connections, there was space to simply enjoy, laugh, and be present and you all made the most of it.

These images are a reminder that beyond the Game Connect summit, it’s the people, the energy, and the shared moments that truly stay with us. Real, fun, and full of life.

Swipe through and relive the vibes with us.

Thank you for stepping into our frame and making it meaningful 💛

🟩Not all wounds are visible.

Beyond physical violence, many young people are silently experiencing emotional and psychological harm through neglect, silence, and lack of care at home. The “silent treatment” and emotional distance can be just as damaging, leaving deep and lasting impacts.

These are some of the powerful reflections being shared during our panel discussion at the Game Connect Summit 2026.

It’s time we acknowledge this reality, start the conversations, and take action. Creating safe spaces for young people to express themselves is no longer optional it’s necessary.

🟨Let’s talk about growth beyond the classroom.

It doesn’t only happen in classrooms, it happens in how young people connect, collaborate, and communicate every day.

1 in 7 young people globally experience mental health challenges, highlighting the importance of safe spaces where they can connect, express themselves, and feel supported.

In these spaces, teamwork, relationship building, and effective communication are not just skills for the field; they are life tools that shape confident, responsible, and empowered young people.

This week, every shared moment, every step taken together, and every voice heard has contributed to building stronger individuals and more connected communities.

As the weekend begins, we carry these lessons forward, continuing to support one another, communicate with purpose, and grow together. 💙

📸Certified, Confident & Ready to Take On Their Goals!💪💯

Images: participants from Tropical High School proudly receive their certificates after completing a full year of 24 sessions in business knowledge and life skills.

Over the year, they gained the skills and confidence to pursue employment or launch their own entrepreneurial ventures both in school and in their communities.

In interactive, inclusive sessions, they applied real-life scenarios to strengthen entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business planning, marketing, product knowledge, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These experiences also built their critical thinking, decision-making, and self-confidence.

We are proud to see these young people step forward skilled, confident, and ready to make informed choices that positively impact their communities.🌍👏
