According to our personal backgrounds, and also depending on how far God has brought each one of us, using other people to make us what we are now, we realized that there are so many others who are going through the same experiences and even worse situations. On this note, we came together after realizing that there is a better person on the inside of every orphan, poor, marginalized and all the u
nderprivileged in our communities around the world! Only that they need some one to speak into their lives and hold their hands to their destinations. An orphan is a person whose father and mother are dead. A child is called an orphan to indicate a permanent end and access to fatherly benefits of that person. This is the very reason many orphans end up hopeless, failures, vulnerable and feel rejected resulting in to resentment and hence adopting to drug habits, street childhood which pulls their lives to destruction at the end of the day. Once was an orphan but now i am fathered by Abba Father and mothered by the Generals' ministries through Christ Jesus our Lord. Its all about stretching hands and rub off the tittle "orphan" from the vulnerable children and the fatherless of our generation. The General's Ministries therefore takes the position of both a father and mother through a prophetic and testimonial organization called "Once was an orphan- Uganda" to carry out the responsibilities a parent would have offered to their children. All this effort is invested to make sure that orphans forget that they have ever lost a parent. By manifesting the true love of Christ and building an intimate relationship with them, we believe that we shall mentor and raise Generals out of these children.
