We were delighted to welcome the Embassy of Denmark in Uganda team,alongside our consortium partners @
Advance Afrika & Open Space Centre, to our offices for a routine Monitoring & Evaluation visit.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress made over the past 15 months in advancing meaningful youth inclusion in democratic governance and civic participation across the West Nile region. It also served as a platform to discuss lessons learned, review key achievements, & reaffirm our collective commitment to strengthening young people’s engagement in governance processes.

We had the pleasure of engaging with the OXFAM Novib team in constructive discussions on Power To Voices

As more young people show interest in participating in development processes, the platform presents an opportunity to learn about and contribute to meaningful participation for young advocates,and youth serving organizations.

Our conversation explored how future partnerships can strengthen this platform, expand opportunities for young changemakers, and amplify youth voices where they matter most.

Reports continue to highlight the many challenges facing young people in West Nile,from infrastructural gaps to social and health barriers. But one issue that cuts deeper is systemic exclusion from governance and decision making spaces.

We had an oppotunity to engage both young women and men including duty bearers in Yumbe to bridge the gap and ensure both parties are heard
