What does belonging mean to you?
For many of our litclub members it means to be loved, respected and valued.

Here is a glimpse of how they grinned at the beautiful peace of art they made together-putting their heart maps into one big ♥ ❤

Today, we play for a brighter future!

At Art of a Child, we know that play is not just "fun"—it is the language of childhood. On this International Day of Play we celebrate the power of imagination, movement, and creative expression as essential tools for healing and growth.

For the children and communities we serve, play is a bridge to:
✨ Healing: Expressive arts help process trauma and build resilience.

✨ Education: Performing arts turn lessons into lived experiences.

✨ Thriving: Creative play fosters the confidence to lead and the empathy to connect.

Whether it’s through a drum circle, a dance-off, a painting session, or a game of tag, play is a fundamental right that allows every child to dream without limits.

Today, we invite you to reconnect with your inner child. Grab a paintbrush, sing out loud, or simply take a moment to laugh. When we play, we heal. When we play, we thrive.

Happy International Day of Play! 🎈🌟

As the Menstrual Hygiene Month comes to an end-it reminds us of the importance of menstrual health and its impact on education. Many girls miss school due to inadequate access to sanitary products and facilities, which hampers their academic success.

By providing proper menstrual hygiene management in schools and promoting open discussions, we can help dismantle stigma and empower girls to stay in class. Ensuring menstrual hygiene is a crucial step toward achieving quality education and creating a more equitable future for all.

We have completed 4 menstrual hygiene workshops in rural and informal settlements, giving away free sanitary pads to school girls. Thank you for making this possible
