💍 Day 1 | Pastors Couples Seminar happening at Pastors Discipleship Network in partnership with Renewal International

Today at PDN, pastors and their spouses began a powerful time of teaching and reflection led by Dr. Vance and Julie Hardisty of Renewal International.

Dr. Vance challenged pastors to remember that ministry is not the foundation of their lives. Their personal walk with God, their marriage, and their children must come first. From learning to recognize the treasure in your spouse to choosing appreciation over criticism, couples were encouraged to build marriages marked by love, trust, honor, affection, and sacrifice.

In the afternoon, Julie Hardisty spoke directly to the wives, emphasizing respect, affection, admiration, appreciation, and the power of our words. She reminded wives that what they say and do can either build up or tear down their husbands, while encouraging them to be trustworthy and protective of their marriages.

The day offered practical, biblical reminders that healthy marriages strengthen healthy families—and healthy families strengthen healthy churches.
