LBC @10!!

On 23rd May 2026, we celebrate 10 years of partnership between Pastors Discipleship Network (PDN) and Lancaster Bible College, alongside the graduation of Cohort 10.

For a decade, this partnership has equipped pastors and Christian leaders through biblical training, discipleship, and theological formation—raising leaders who are strengthening churches and transforming communities across Uganda and beyond.

As we honor this milestone, we also celebrate the journey of the graduating class whose commitment reflects the fruit of ten years of faithful partnership and Kingdom impact.

This week at the Pastors Discipleship Network, the screens were put away as Lancaster Bible College held face-to-face residencies and orientations for Cohort 11 and Cohort 12!

From rigorous theological debates to collaborative peer mentorship, these exceptional pastoral leaders are being equipped to directly apply biblical truth to the distinct ministry landscape of Africa.

We are so grateful to Professor Rob Blanks and Dr. Sam Harbin from Lancaster Bible College for their masterful facilitation, challenging our leaders to think deeply and lead with godly character.

Last week, the PDN Women’s Ministry hosted a powerful 2-day Women’s Workshop in Misindye facilitated by Lucy Foster and Dr. Rose Mugabi. The workshop brought together over 100 pastors’ wives and women leaders for a time of deep biblical teaching, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.

The sessions focused on the teaching of God’s Word, understanding identity in Christ, and experiencing healing and restoration through the Word and prayer.

On 5th and 6th May, we hosted a 2-day Interim Pastors Cohort 5 training for 28 participants at Pastors Discipleship Network , facilitated by Rick.

The training focused on godly pastoral leadership and intentionally addressed the leadership vacuum many churches face today. Emphasis was placed on the truth that effective leadership begins with godly character, which is then reflected in a pastor’s conduct and behavior.

We also explored biblical approaches to conflict, equipping pastors with practical tools on how to prepare for and lead through challenging situations. The sessions highlighted how pastors can respond with wisdom, integrity, and a Christ-centered approach when navigating conflict within the church.

We are grateful to share that on 2nd May 2026, we received a container of 1,089 boxes of Christian books from Christianbook International Outreach.

These resources will be distributed to about 7 ministries, equipping pastors, leaders, and believers with sound teaching, discipleship materials, and Bibles.

We deeply appreciate this partnership and the role it plays in extending the Gospel through literature. Lives are transformed when truth is accessible and this is impact that will reach far beyond what we can see.
