Haven for African Children Haven has evolved in a few years as an NGO by promoting, family reunification, affordable formal education/skilling and advocating for children’s rights.

We Provide Holistic Support and Care to the Unreached children and communities through Education, Health and Football for development enabling them be who God intended them to be. Haven for African Children (HACH) is a Non-Government, Non-profit Organization with a Christian foundation giving haven/refuge to homeless and compassionate care and empowerment to vulnerable children not only to surviv

e but to also thrive through social support including family reunification, formal education and skilling of teenage girls and young mothers under and advocacy for children’s rights in Uganda. Haven operational mandate is derived from the UN convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC), the African Charter on the rights and welfare of the child (ACRWC) and various national legal and policy frameworks including the Children’s Act (2016) Amendment, the orphans and other Vulnerable children (OVC) Policy.

Since 2015, Haven for African Children has been walking alongside vulnerable children across Uganda , providing holistic, Christ-centered care rooted in dignity, education, and community partnership.

This month, we're excited to bring you closer to that journey: our story, our founder's heart behind it all, and the vision that continues to guide everything we do.
