🌟 Empowering Women & Girls in Tapac! 🌟

The Grow Stronger Together Project (GSTP)—supported by Welthungerhilfe through BMZ funding—continues to build on earlier successes by transforming gender relations, promoting economic empowerment, and advancing menstrual health for women and girls.

Through active engagement in decision-making, and by promoting access to quality SRHR and PSEAH services, GSTP is reaching over 3,600 women and girls, contributing to improved livelihoods, enhanced agency, and more equitable participation in social and economic life.

🚲✨ Today, in Tapac Sub-County, the project distributed bicycles and other equipment to Peer Educators and Community-Based Champions (CBCs). These tools will strengthen their outreach, ensuring that women and girls are supported, informed, and empowered to lead change in their communities.

Together, we are growing stronger, transforming futures, and building equality NOW. 💪🌍

If you’re a skilled driver with at least 3 years’ experience, a valid Class A, B, E, CM, CH permit, and a passion for supporting youth education in Karamoja — this role is for you!

This week, our team is conducting institutional visits for university beneficiaries of the Embassy of Ireland Karamoja Bursary Program implemented by Straight Talk Foundation.
This visit is an opportunity to check in, listen, and encourage these bright young minds as they navigate their academic journeys. We have focus group discussions as well as one-on-one sessions with beneficiaries. The discussions are around academic performance over the semesters, and their general welfare. We are inspired by their resilience, determination, and commitment to excellence.
At STF, we believe that education is a powerful tool for empowerment. Supporting these students is not just about tuition—it’s about nurturing future leaders who will uplift their communities. And we are grateful to the Embassy of Ireland for the support.
