*GOD IS STILL CONCERNED ABOUT THE CONDUCT OF THE BELIEVERS.*
*Psalms 24:3-4* Who shall ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who shall stand in his holy place?
🌿This is a question for us with an answer in Verse 4.
*Verse 4* The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear deceitfully.
🌿Having clean hands means our actions. 🌿Having a pure heart means the intention of the heart.
🌿Trusting idols means the things we set/prioritise more than God. Trusting riches, a person etc. 🌿Ascending to the hill of God starts with our personal relationship with Jesus, its not attached to tittle or earthly glory. •John 14:6 Jesus the way, truth and life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
🌿After receiving salvation, the next thing is having a relationship with Jesus. This must be the foundation.
🌿This scripture brings us to self examination/knowing our stand in salvation. 🌿 *We cannot have clean hands or have pure hearts without Jesus. The only way, is to get hold on Jesus and walking with Him daily.*
🌿God seeks to raise a generation that stands in holiness and in His works.
🌿Make a decision to walk with Jesus in this generation.
🌿 Like in Old testament and New testament, those generations were not different from now. Genesis 6:5 In Noah's times, God destroyed that generation.*Genesis 17:1* God told Abram to walk before Him carefully and to be blameless.
*2Chronicles16:9* For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.
*Philippians 2:14-16 Do all things without grumbling or arguing, that you may be blameless and pure, “children of God without blemish in a perverse and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them as light in the world, as you hold firmly to the word of life.*
🌿Where are we?👉In a crooked generation.
🌿Who are we?👉Children of God
🌿The word of life 👉Is Jesus.
🌿Let's check our lifestyle. We cannot behave the same way as this crooked generation
