Harassment is one of the biggest unspoken challenges in hospitality. From guests crossing the line to inappropriate workplace behavior, too many women suffer in silence.

👩‍⚖️ The solution?
✔️ Stronger workplace policies to protect women.
✔️ Safe reporting systems without fear of retaliation.
✔️ Zero-tolerance culture in the industry.

You’re not alone! If you’ve ever felt unsafe at work, speak up and support each other🗣️✊🏽

There’s No Plan(et) B 🌱This International Mother Earth Day, we’re reminded that Earth isn’t just our home—it’s our shared responsibility. From the forests that breathe for us, to the rivers that nourish us, every corner of our planet deserves care, respect, and protection🌳💧

Let’s not just celebrate the Earth today—let’s commit to living in harmony with it. Every choice we make shapes the future we leave behind.

💚 Protect. Restore. Love. For people. For the planet. For generations to come.

Art Day🧵🎨we celebrate the unsung heroines of hospitality—the mothers, sisters, and daughters whose art welcomes the world to Uganda.

This is one way women greatly contribute to Uganda's tourism. In villages near national parks, on the streets of Kampala, and in craft markets across the country, hundreds of women pour their skill and heritage into beautiful art pieces that travelers carry home as cherished memories.

These aren’t just souvenirs. They’re livelihoods. They’re school fees. They’re meals on the table. They’re proof that when women thrive, communities rise.

🖼️When you travel, choose to buy handmade. Choose to support a dream.

Our Story & Inspiration

I greet you and thank you for coming to our Page. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years not by accident but out of passion. I believe this is my destiny and until the Lord calls me home, I will continue to serve the industry I love.

In the second half of 2019, I felt a burning desire to help the less privileged women in the hospitality industry. This was mainly after hearing complaints from young women who had been forced to offer sexual favors to their male colleagues in order to advance in their respective career(s) plus the sorry economic state of women working tirelessly in the hospitality industry.

Generally, hospitality women in Uganda are only seen and not heard. Even the few privileged women have done little or nothing to change the status quo. It is also not news that women are too quick to tear each other down rather than build each other for better and it’s time to change the narrative.

This forum has been created to become a voice for the voiceless, lend a helping hand and to help fix each other’s’ crowns.
