Holiday days at Penner are not just about playing—they’re also about learning, helping, and having a little fun along the way! 😊

Today, our kitchen had a special chef in charge, Namugga Claire, who stepped up to help prepare lunch for everyone. From the kitchen to the dining table, it was a beautiful moment of learning responsibility, teamwork, and the joy of contributing to the family.

And of course… we had to let Chef Claire have her moment! 😂👩🏾‍🍳

These simple holiday experiences are helping our children build confidence and practical life skills that go far beyond the classroom.

Well done, Chef Claire! The kitchen is yours today! ❤️🍲

Our children spending time at the coffee farm is about so much more than farming. It is about giving them an opportunity to learn, participate, and understand the value of creating something that can sustain a community for generations.

From planting and caring for the coffee trees to learning about the land, agriculture, teamwork, and responsibility, every visit to the farm becomes a lesson that goes beyond the classroom.

We want our children to grow up understanding that sustainability is not simply about what we receive today it is about what we build today that will continue to provide tomorrow.

Our Coffee4Us farm is part of that vision. Through coffee farming and other agricultural activities, we are working towards creating a more sustainable future for our children, reducing dependency, creating opportunities, and building something they can eventually take pride in and call their own.

And perhaps one day, some of these very children will look back at these moments and say:

“We helped build this.”

That is the kind of future we are working towards one seed, one tree, one child, and one dream at a time.

As another school term comes to an end, we want to wish all our children God’s blessings and every success as they begin their End of Term Two examinations.

These past weeks have been filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and wonderful achievements. We are incredibly proud of how hard each child has worked, and now it’s time to finish the term strong.

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV)

We pray that God grants each one of them wisdom, understanding, confidence, and peace as they sit their exams. May He reward their hard work and guide them through every paper.

We are also excited that, by next week, the children will begin their Term Two holiday, and we look forward to welcoming them home once again. We can’t wait to spend quality time together, create new memories, and share another season of love, laughter, and growth.
