Sanyu Babies' Home was started in 1929 by a missionary sister, RIP Sr. Winfred Milnes Walker, and it is the oldest home of its kind in Uganda.

Sanyu Babies’ Home is a Christian based organization taking care of abandoned children.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our Sanyu Family across the world!

Today we would like to highlight our wonderful male Sanyu Staff who are fatherly figures to the Sanyu children. Though most of their roles are not working with the children directly, they all make time to be as involved with the children as possible. A quick hello whilst cleaning, helping with feeding at busy times, or sometimes just a cuddle when a child is having a rough day. They mean so much to our Sanyu children and we are so grateful to them! 🩵

When a child is referred to Sanyu, they join the Sanyu Family. Our staff are mothers and fathers, aunties and uncles, for however long each child needs it. We are a family! ❤️
