Hello dear friends, family and my brothers and sisters in Christ. Show hope today for the orphans.

In the Bible, God describes Himself as the ultimate protector of orphans, explicitly commanding His followers to defend and care for them. The scriptures view neglect of the vulnerable as a grave injustice and define true faith as active compassion for them.

God as a Protector.
A Father to the Fatherless: God is described as the defender and ultimate Father of the vulnerable. Psalm 68:5 declares,Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation".

Executor of Justice: He promises to hear their cries and execute justice on their behalf. Deuteronomy 10:18 states that God "executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing".

Commands to the Community
Active Defense: Believers are commanded to be a voice for the vulnerable. Isaiah 1:17 urges, "Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless.

Severe Warnings: God issues strict warnings against those who mistreat or take advantage of orphans, promising to listen if they cry out in distress.

True Religion: Caring for them is considered a core measure of genuine faith. James 1:27 states, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.
