Thank you for the love and support you give to gunduatid initiative.
Without your support, many of the children, parents and guardians would not have the renewed hope they have at the moment.

"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life," is found in Proverbs 13:12 of the King James Version (KJV). It means that long-delayed expectations cause emotional pain, while fulfilling a desire brings profound joy and revitalization. It contrasts the agony of waiting with the satisfaction of achievement.
Meaning: When something you hope for is delayed, postponed, or takes a long time, it causes sadness, disappointment, or emotional distress (a "sick" heart).
The second half of the verse offers hope, stating that when that desire is finally fulfilled, it acts like a "tree of life" (symbolizing healing, vitality, and joy).
This suggests that while waiting is painful, the eventual fulfillment brings immense, life-giving satisfaction.

This phrase is frequently used to describe the emotional toll of enduring long-term uncertainty or waiting for prayers to be answered.

Its been 2 months now since we started selling Deyo shea butter and promoting the brand Deyo as a sustainabilitity project for The I Discovery-TID Gunduatid Initiative.

Yes i am still excited.
Yes i am still thrilled
Yes i am still hopeful.

With Deyo we will be able to raise funds for Gunduatid initiative projects.

More than that, Deyo has stretched me.
Deyo has taken me out of my comfort zone but it had also been able to ignite a light within me.

Yes i am bolder
Yes i am more courageous
Yes i am more confident.

I enjoy creativity and being able to create a brand has been an exciting challenge for me and the team.

Gundua is a community based initiative located in the heart of Namuwongo. We provide a safe space for vulnerable children in the slums many of whom are out of school or living in unstable homes. At Gundua, they come to learn how to read, write, dream again, and simply be children.

🌱 Gundua means “to discover”—and that’s exactly what we do. We help children discover hope, purpose, and a future.
