Some studies reported the cost of health services to be generally higher in than in government centres.
It's important to note however that whereas the have good data and re relatively reliable estimates, to our knowledge th no systematic studies of costs exist for government facilities, in addition costs comparison between the public and organisation, which do not take into account case mix,quality and facility grade are rather unhelpful.
The cost of providing health services in Uganda, organisation facilities has been systematically studied by the respective medical bureaux in their efforts to solicit government and donor support, organisation have developed an extensive list of indicators to assess efficiency, access, and quality.
