Moving Beyond Boardroom Conversations to Climate Action! 🌍
Tonight, our Regional Activity Coordinator (West Nile), Mr. Ivan Lakisa, joined Edgar on NBS Television for a powerful discussion on the reality of political manifestos and the environmental crisis.
Ivan delivered a wake-up call to our nation: "The practical aspects of the planning we hold in the boardrooms is what reflects our seriousness in driving changes in the environment."
At Global Earth Care Uganda, we don't just talk; we act. We are effectively leveraging the "40% unproductive" population by engaging them in:

🎭 Drama & Poetry: Using performance to spread environmental awareness.

🌱 Tree Nurseries: Establishing nurseries to green our spaces.

♻️ Plastic Recycling: Turning waste into opportunity.

🏫 Capacity Building: Training students and teachers to be the climate leaders of tomorrow.

Your silence on environmental injustice is a threat to the next generation. Let’s stop talking and start planting!

Raising awareness about plastic separation in Portbell can be a significant source of income. By educating the community on proper sorting and recycling practices, locals can collect and sell recyclable plastics to recycling companies. This not only generates income but also helps in reducing environmental pollution and promoting sustainability in the area.WWF-Uganda UN Environment Programme New YorkOxfam in Uganda Green World The Ocean CleanupYouth Go Green Uganda Amanya Wilson Okumu Phillip The New Vision@
