On Friday, Afaayo Anti - Drug Abuse Initiative participated in the validation of the Alcohol status report together with different CSOs at Fairway Hotel. This meeting was organised by Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance. Due to the effects of alcohol ŵe advocate for Alcohol regulation in uganda to save lives.

As the school holiday begins, children are looking forward to well-deserved rest, fun, and freedom. However, this transition from a structured school environment to increased free time can also increase the risks of experimentation with drugs, alcohol, and other harmful substances. During this break, we encourage you to stay actively involved and engaged in your child’s life:
1. Communicate Openly & listen
2. Know their Friends and whereabouts:
3. Set Clear Boundaries:
4. Be a Positive Role Model
5. Check their mental health status etc
