It’s World Sleep Day and this year’s theme is ‘sleep well, live better’.

Our Safe Sleep project is all about sleeping well to live better. We’ve found children have better attendance at school when they have a safe place to sleep, and our families are in better health when they have a proper bed 🛌

Seeing the joy on the faces of our families when their beds are installed is the whole reason we do what we do!

Today we enrolled our first ever Senior 5 student! Junior successfully passed his Senior 4 exams and so has been able to proceed to Senior 5. What an exciting day - let the learning commence! 📚

Joy of Learning would like to invite you to a BARN DANCE! 💃🏼

Saturday 7 March 2026 6.30pm till 9.30pm in Canolfan Beulah

Free entry - there will be a collection for Joy of Learning and an opportunity to buy Ugandan Crafts. In between dances - while you get your breath back! - you’ll be able to hear about what Joy of Learning has been getting up to recently.

The evening will include hot dogs and ice cream… so please let us know if you would like to come so we can cater for all! 💛💜

Visiting our families is always special. But it’s extra special to visit Mathias and Winnie as their family is one of the reasons that Joy of Learning exists. Seeing them thriving at school and being so loved by their family just makes it all worth it. This is why we do what we do!
