Did you know that most girls in vulnerable communities in Uganda miss school during their periods simply because they cannot afford or access menstrual products?

For a girl, missing school can mean missing lessons, falling behind and slowly losing confidence in her education and dreams. 💔📚

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Through reusable pads and menstrual health support, we can help girls stay in school, learn with confidence and keep dreaming. 🌸

✨ Partner with Inspire Lives Africa to see these girls thrive.

Together, we can make sure that no girl is left behind because of her period. 💕💪

Today was a beautiful day at Inspire Lives Africa! 🤍 A kind soul made the grandest contribution and her only wish was to provide a yummy feast and school supplies for our community children. A total of 59 children at the Katwe slum gathered together for this magical moment. What an impact!!

We want to thank you with all our hearts (and full bellies) Damari for your generous donation. Souls like you is what keeps ILA going and allows us to continue to inspire our youth to reach for greatness. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🩷🙏🏽📚✏️🧠

Turning ideas into action 💡✨

In this session, we learned how to move from ideas to real action — building our capacity to better serve and create impact in our communities.

Growth is a journey, and we’re committed to learning, improving, and doing more 💙

This week’s Impact Forge Masterclass was another powerful reminder that ideas alone do not create change…action does.

We are deeply grateful for the session led by Humphrey Nabimanya who challenged us as young social entrepreneurs to think beyond vision and focus on what it truly takes to translate bold ideas into real, measurable impact.

One lesson that stood out for us was the importance of clarity…clarity of personal and institutional goals, disciplined planning, clear timelines and accountability.

Most importantly, the courage to test ideas, learn from the process and try again…but better.

As INSPIRE LIVES AFRICA (ILA)… these conversations are incredibly valuable. They push us to refine our ideas into practical programs that can genuinely transform lives within our communities.

Grateful to be part of a space that is not only nurturing ideas, but equipping young leaders with the mindset and tools needed to turn them into impact.

🩸No girl should miss school because of a period 🩸

Last year, we were honored to be selected to participate in the Impact Forge Program by Reach A Hand Uganda.

Through that journey, we gained deeper insight into their commitment to supporting youth-led initiatives and it was there that we learned they could support reusable pads projects. We applied for the support which was approved and we were granted 30 reusable best quality pads having 5 pads per pack, 30 panties and 30 girl talk booklets.

What started as an opportunity for growth has now become real impact in our community.
On Wednesday 25th February…we carried that impact to Makindye Parents Secondary School, where we reached out to 30 girls through our Reusable Pads School Outreach program.

It was beyond distributing reusable pads, we created a safe and empowering space for honest conversations about menstrual health, dignity and self-confidence. We reminded the girls that their period should never be a source of shame, nor a reason to miss school.

We are deeply grateful to Reach A Hand Uganda for providing the reusable pads and for believing in grassroots organisations like ours. Your support does more than meet a need … it restores dignity, protects education and strengthens young girls to stand tall.

Thirty girls now have sustainable menstrual solutions.
Thirty girls now walk in greater confidence.
Thirty futures shine brighter. ✨
