We are building the next chapter of women’s economic ownership in Uganda.

Our founders built an institution. Those who followed built assets and a culture of women investing together. Our generation must now build productive assets that create businesses, jobs, markets, returns and lasting wealth.

Through the UWEAL Investment Company and the Proposed Logistics Hub & Incubation Centre, we are demonstrating that women can move from participating in the economy to owning the productive assets of the economy.

Let us invest together. Let us build assets together. Let us create wealth together and leave a legacy that makes the next generation say, “The women who came before us thought about us.”

The Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Limited (UWEAL) broke ground on the UWEAL Logistics Hub and officially launched the UWEAL Investment Company, a bold new chapter in advancing women in business.
For decades, UWEAL has helped women entrepreneurs organise, build capacity, and access networks. We moved from mobilisation to ownership.

The UWEAL Investment Company is built on a simple philosophy: Women investing in Women moving beyond earning and saving towards investing, owning productive assets, and building intergenerational wealth.

The Logistics Hub is our first flagship investment delivering warehousing, aggregation, storage, and market linkage infrastructure so women entrepreneurs can scale production, meet bigger orders, and connect consistently to markets.

Women are coming together to build sustainable, profitable businesses, women investing in women, and creating assets for generations.

We are investing together, building together, and creating sustainable businesses that deliver both impact and returns.
