(Uganda Children Achieving and Realizing Empowerment)
UCARE Intl. is a nonprofit, charitable organization in the Luzira area of Kampala, Uganda. Founded in 2015, we provide housing, food, clothing, medical care, and education to 80 children ages 3-15 years old. All of the children are orphans, pri
marily as a result of HIV/AIDS and conditions of extreme poverty. We provide the love, care, education, and social development they need, to ensure they can excel and become productive citizens of Uganda
Our Goals are to provide:
Education – academic in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. Vocational training – computer science, construction, auto mechanics, poultry, masonry, hair dressing, clothes making, entrepreneurial training, customer service, tourism, etc. Artistic training - art, music, dance, drama, singing, sports,
Awareness - campaign against HIV/AIDS, TB, polio, malaria/drug abuse etc. through community performances
Values - unity, integrity, community, responsibility, kindness, love and equality. Match parents for child sponsorships. Our mission is contribute to a better world, by empowering orphaned and vulnerable children To live a dignified and fulfilling life, further participating in development of their communities And country. Our Motto is “To leave this world a better place than we found it” Lord Baden Powell. Yet, we know we can’t do it alone. UCARE Intl develops partnerships with caring volunteers, community members and caring donors like you to ensure our children have access to comprehensive support that enables them to not just survive, but thrive. There is nothing more important to our children than knowing others care about them
