Brightening smiles, changing lives! � A dedicated dental professional delivers care to a young patient in a community-driven initiative. Together, volunteers and locals make a meaningful impact on oral health.

The next day... we traded in our medical scrubs for adventure gears! ��

We're inviting YOU to join us for our May 16th - 24th, 2026 (tentative dates) adventure! � No dental experience? No problem! Whether you're a dentist or not, we welcome you with open arms if you've got love to help and love for adventure! �

Join us for a mix of cultural exchange, making new friends, broadening horizons, and giving back through:
- Oral health education �
- Cementing �
- Cleaning �
- Fluoride varnish �
- Temporary crowns for baby teeth �
- Extractions �
- Plus lots of dental supplies giveaways �

*Costs:*
- $3000 USD (inclusive of gorilla trekking �)
- $2200 USD (without gorilla trekking)

This covers food �, accommodation �, transport �, tour destination entry fees �, fruits �, and hydration � throughout the trip. You pay for any liquor drinks you order �.

Spreading smiles in the great outdoors! 🌳💫 Caught in the act of giving back during a voluntary dental outreach. Our team brought oral care to a community in need under the shade of nature. 🙌

Join our mission to bring smiles to those who need it most! 🌟🦷

At ASA Uganda, we're dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care to underserved communities. Our recent dental camp at TASSAGA OVC was a huge success, where our team provided free dental treatments to over 170 vulnerable kids. 🦷👧

We offered a range of procedures, including:

- Oral health education to promote good hygiene practices
- Dental fillings to restore decayed teeth
- Stainless steel crowns to protect teeth from further decay
- Fluoride applications to prevent tooth decay
- Tooth extractions to relieve pain and prevent infection
- Distribution of toothbrushes and toothpaste to promote good oral hygiene

This camp was one of many we've conducted in the past, where we've extended free dental relief to communities in need. Our team is passionate about making a difference and leaving a positive impact. 🌟

But it's not just about the treatments - our trips are also about having fun, meeting new people, and exploring the beauty of Uganda! 🌳🎉 From thrilling game drives through stunning national parks to serene boat cruises and exhilarating treks, every moment is a chance to create lifelong memories.

Our next camp is planned for May 16-24, 2026, but we're open to customized itineraries for teams with specific dates. 📅👥

Treating the kids at Hope foundation was another amazing at satisfying experience. We did cleanings, cements, fluoride, extractions, oral health education, donated brushes, paste and many other things. We had a dance at lunch with the kids at the foundation and we are really so excited seeing these kids riding from nothing to something as they will be performing in America has got talent in a few weeks. Big thanks to our friends from Canada who caused this camp. Keep following for more updates as the call for more volunteers is also still on and we are open whole round for all your customized itineraries.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Meet Valerie, part of our incredible team from Switzerland and Canada, who joined us for our June outreach at the Hakuna Matata Dental Camp. Despite the challenges, like not having a chair for our young patient or hygienist, VALERIE and her team didn't let that stop them. They got creative and made it work, proving that with determination and teamwork, anything is possible. The result? A happy patient and a team that made a real difference. We're always looking for volunteers like Valerie who are ready to 'go hard or go home' and make a positive impact. No experience needed, just a willingness to learn and make a difference. Smiling under the sun isn't just a phrase, it's a mission!
Come for the dentistry, stay for the adventure!

Our team brings top-notch oral care to the great outdoors, making a real difference in the lives of our young patients in underserved communities. For many, this is their first encounter with a dental professional, luxury often taken for granted in more affluent areas.

In rural Uganda, accessing dental care is a significant challenge. Many villages are located far from the nearest dentist, with some having to travel over 30 miles just to receive basic care. And when they do, the options are often limited to extractions, a costly and often traumatic experience. But we're changing that narrative.

Uganda faces a daunting oral health crisis: with a staggering dentist-to-patient ratio of 1:130,000, and only a very small percentage of the population can afford these services.
Dentists handle hygiene work due to the absence of trained hygienists. We're pioneering a new approach to oral health, empowering communities to take control of their health.
We need your help! We're calling on volunteers - dentists and non-dentists alike - to join our mission.
