Climate change is a global point of discussion and in Uganda inclusive. Raising temperatures, floods and food insecurity have sparked these arguments. We have encouraged community clean ups and fruit tree planting spearheaded by children as a sign of equipping the next generation with skills of preserving their environment and inspire communities to feed the planet as it feeds us all hence a green generation. In December 2025, Mpenzi children foundation Africa in partnership with Tweyanze happy souls managed to conduct a community clean up in Gaba that was closed with planting fruit trees that are to be monitored by child ambassadors from these areas. This can be achievable and more impactful through introduction of green school programs, introduction of community gardens to grow more food ,encourage locals to plant trees of different species, formation of climate clubs in schools and partnerships with local entities to sponsor environment activities and preserve spaces .
