Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been running an orphanage in Jinja, Uganda, for several years. Currently, we provide daily care for 64 children between the ages of 1 and 14. In addition, we support children from the surrounding community, serving approximately 165 meals per day.

The children live in rented accommodation and are cared for by five widows, whose own children also live there. Our entire operation is funded solely through donations.

Due to personal circumstances affecting some of our sponsors and a significant decline in donations, we are currently facing a critical emergency. The rent for March has not yet been paid, and the new month is already approaching. Furthermore, we have completely run out of food supplies, and there are several urgent medical cases among the children.

Our landlord is threatening eviction on a daily basis, which would force all the children back onto the streets.

We would be deeply grateful for any kind of support.

I am happy to provide proof of our registration and documentation of the children and their living conditions upon request.

Because of sponsorship, Mary isn’t just taught. It’s lived, every day.

Children grow up with daily rhythms that point them to Jesus. They pray together in the morning. They hear Scripture in the context of family. They are discipled by consistent adults who walk with them through questions, doubts, and growth over time.

Sponsorship makes space for children to discover who God is and who they are in Him, not in a moment, but through a lifetime of steady, faithful presence.

Yikes, I wouldn’t like to admit there is food shortages at home because the generosity of our friends is always incredible that wve never gone to bed hungry
