We have truly moved a long way from the time of The Great Controversy in Heaven through how it unfolded on Earth when Christ came till it centered around those who have chosen Christ. The devil has not given up. He still seeks more to take with him in the lake of fire prepared for him.

This episode marks the end of this introduction to The Great Controversy. Much of the details have not been explored - but at least many fundamentals have been highlighted. In this episode, we explore the tools Satan employs in this conflict against the beloved of God. While he has a lot of tools at his disposal, we are reminded that he is a conquered foe - and for this reason, there is no need to fear him. As many as shall stay faithful to Christ and cling to Him in love and trust, victory is theirs.

I beseech all of us that we may stay strong in the LORD God and Jesus Christ our Lord for the surety of our victory is indeed sure.

We have truly moved a long way from the time of The Great Controversy in Heaven through how it unfolded on Earth when Christ came till it centered around those who have chosen Christ. The devil has not given up. He still seeks more to take with him in the lake of fire prepared for him.

It is now time for Seventh-day Adventists to avoid taking political sides, affiliating with any political party including voting. Current events, including the recent speakers conference gatherings in Accra, Ghana, where speakers took oaths, suggest that prominent political figures are moving to fulfill the prophecy in Revelation 13:11-17. This serves as a reminder for us to prepare for the ultimate confrontation between good and evil, as the mark and image of the beast are ready and the stage is set for the final clash.

We have gone a long way now. In this episode, we review the first and second conflicts and then introduce the third conflict. As an introduction to the third conflict, we attend to the concepts of the woman and the man child in Rev. 12.

While many teach that the woman there is Mary, the mother of Jesus, there is evidence to the contrary. One such evidence is that we have no record of direct confrontation between the devil, through his agents, and Mary. But we are led to learn that the woman is the Church of God and Christ. To this, we have more than sufficient evidence, all the way from the Old Testament, through the Dark Ages, to now, of Satan's direct attacks on the Church of God, those who have accepted to walk with God in His statutes.

As noted in the previous episode, Adam's fall gave Satan a second chance to access the presence of God, when the sons of God would be called into it. As they represented the unfallen worlds, Satan did represent our world.

However, this would not continue for long. Christ came to our world, not with His godly vestures, but as a man - One of us who could experience our sorrows and thus understood our infirmities. According to the Law of Redemption, a brother could buy back lost property, so Christ became our Brother to buy back our world. And thank God, He did.

At the cross, He vanquished Satan, wrested earth from his hands - and now ever stands in the presence of God as our Representative and Mediator. Moreover, He is a compassionate Mediator who understands our weaknesses and pleads on our behalf. This is the best of news, the surety of the gospel.

We, by now, know that Satan lost his place and work in heaven. So, the question is posed based on what is recorded in Job 1:6-7 and Job 2:1-6 as pertains to Satan's presence in the very presence of God - and him having conversed with God about Job.
Understanding what qualifies Satan to be there is further evidence of the faithfulness and uprightness of the character of God. While Satan caused Him hurt by bringing a schism in His hosts, He recognizes the right of representation of earth he stealthily got from Adam - and all its privileges such as being in this council.

So far, we have covered the first conflict/ battle Lucifer waged, which was directed to the Father regarding the equality He allowed to share with Michael/ Christ. In this video, we look at the resulting casting from heaven presented in two phases in Rev. 12:7-9.

This video helps to answer the question of how Lucifer found his place here on earth. Was it God through Michael and his angels who cast him onto our earth? Or, something else happened. Moreover, it further vindicates the character of God.
