Yesterday as of 11/5/2025, we had a business meeting at Bwambara hills, and the following were the resolutions.

1. To raise 1,330,000 subscription in efforts to paying international dues by next week Sunday 1st of June 2025.

2. To have installation on 21/6/2025, and the installation venue chosen to be Bwambara Hills Hotel.

3. On installation day, to officially launch Leos club of Bwambara secondary and register it in the international in the first half of the lionistic year. Members pledged to contribute $150 registration fees.

4. To launch Leos club of Bwambara Modern secondary school on Bwambara Day 27th December 2025 and and register in the international in the second half of lionistic year, members pledged to contribute another $150 registration fees.

5. To officially, hand over the house to Madina on installation where the guest of honor for the installation shall preside over the function.

6. The installation committee was nominated to start the planning of the installation, among their roles are, drafting a budget, setting installation program, writing invitation letters, etc.

Acommittee is composed of,

To have our next business meeting on Sunday 1st June 2025 at Ln, Arthur Home, our branch president and he wraps his leadership as branch president. He is also our new membership chair. 🪑

APPRECIATION SPEECH BY THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF BWAMBARA LIONS CLUB
LIONISTIC YEAR 2025/2026.

Fellow Lions, Leos, and esteemed members of Bwambara Lions Club,

Praise the Lord!

Today, I woke up to good news from the nominations committee that I was appointed the President elect of Bwambara Lions Club!

I am filled with gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility as I humbly take on the role of President of Bwambara Lions Club for the Lionistic Year 2025/2026. I am truly honored by this trust and privilege, and I extend my sincere appreciation to each and every one of you.

First and foremost, I thank the Nominations Committee for believing in me and appointing me to serve in this capacity. Your confidence in my leadership is both humbling and inspiring. I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I assure you of my full dedication to serving this great club with integrity, passion, and commitment.

To all members of Bwambara Lions Club, thank you. I owe you my deepest gratitude. Your support, mentorship, and encouragement have been instrumental in my journey as a Lion. The values you have instilled in me—selfless service, leadership, and unity—have shaped me into the leader I am today. I sincerely thank you for entrusting me with this opportunity to serve.

A special appreciation goes to our past and current Presidents, whose dedication and hard work have kept this club strong and thriving. You have set a great foundation for us. As the 7th President of this club, I pledge to build upon your legacy, ensuring that Bwambara Lions Club continues to grow and shine in our community.

To my fellow Vice Presidents, 1st VP, 2nd VP, 3rd VP, Club Officers, and Committee Members, I look forward to working closely with you. I know leadership comes from God, and Leadership is a collective effort, and together, we will ensure that our club remains in good standing—actively serving, paying our dues both district and international on time, and making a positive impact in our community.

As we embark on this coming Lionistic year 2025/2026, I call upon all of you to support me and supporting the club’s activities, initiatives, and vision. Let us work hand in hand to strengthen our club, grow our membership, and uplift those in need.

Lions, together, we serve! Remember where there is a need, there is always a lion. With unity, determination, and a shared commitment to our mission, I have no doubt that we will achieve great success.

Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your trust, your support, and your dedication to our club. I am excited and ready to serve, and I look forward to leading Bwambara Lions Club to greater heights.

Bwambara Lions club in partnership with Christian model ministries organized a very successful medical camp that provided Free medical services to 681 people. They treated sicknesses like;
a. Dental
b. Cancer ( breast, cervical and prostate)
c. Diabetes screening
d. Eyes, screening and giving readings Glasses
e. Mental health
f. High blood pressure screening
All the above services were free.

As the Lions club of Bwambara, we earmarked 27th December as Bwambara Day. We had a beehive of activities that included
1. Welcoming the District Governor Lion Benon Katate and the wife.
2. Planting trees in our Leisure Park in Bikurungu
3. Visiting the 2 Health centers in Bikurungu and donating stuffs to the patients and mothers who have just given birth
4. Board meeting
5. Diner at Lion Kato's home
6. Induction of new Lions and Leos
7. The wedding of Lion Sunday
All that was the great leadership of Lion Jim Ashaba and his leadership.

The Bwambara Lions Club members together with the Leos held a medical camp that helped 2000 people. This was held on 23rd March 2024 at Bikurungu Health center. It helped people with dental, eyes issues and general health challenges. All the services were free

Bwambara Lions Club has for a good time been partnering with education institutions for proper raising of future Lions.
Led by the President Lion Charity Tugumisirize, we visited Barbara Nursery and primary school found in Kikarara. The school has an enrollment of 125 pupils from nursery to p6 with the help of 2 teachers. The school is run under the tree.
We donated 2 footballs to help kids in cocurricullar activities and 100,000sh.
It was a happy moment for the kids and an emotional moment for us.

The Lions of Bwambara together with the Leo's led by their president Lion Charity Tugumisirize and her husband Ln. Jotham Tugumisirize visited Precious the crippled lady who stays with the mother. They took home essentials to help them stand on their ground. The great moment was an inspiration to the lions community.
Among other donations were 100k cash for Precious, 100k.cash for her mother and 4 goats were bought for Precious to raise her hopes high.

Beautiful day for Bwambara Lions Club as we reflected on the 5yrs of active service. Lots of achievements and future visions were shared. Many lions were rewarded for the super actions .
Our senior Lions Ln. Venne, Ln. Prof. Mercy, Ln. JB. Ntangare.
The Charter night doubled as the fundraising for the upcoming medical camp.
