Happy Day!

Today, we join the world in marking Human Rights Day, commemorating the anniversary of the United Nations’ adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights — a landmark document affirming the inherent dignity and rights of every human being.

This year’s theme, “Human Rights, Our Everyday Essentials,” highlights the central role human rights play in our daily lives.

As AFIC, we call on all stakeholders to uphold the full spectrum of human rights, with particular emphasis on the right to information, transparency, and accountability.
