WE DID IT! 💜🐾

Thanks to your incredible kindness, we reached our $150 matching challenge and unlocked the full $300! 🎉

But please don’t stop here. $300 is only a little over a third of our full $795 food goal for the month. We still need $495 to make sure the cats have enough food for the entire month. 🥺

With 70 cats relying on us, every single dollar makes a real difference. We still need your help to keep their bowls full. 🐱💜

If you can donate, even $1, please do. If you can’t, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can.

We made it this far because of you. Let’s get the rest of the way together. 🙏🐾

🐾 PEARL is here to tell you “WE’RE ALMOST THERE! 🥹”

We’ve raised $89.84 of our $150 matching challenge goal — only $60.16 to go! 💜

Once we reach the full $150, our generous supporter will match it with another $150, giving us $300 toward food for the cats. 🐱

⚠️Note that : Reaching this matching challenge will take us almost halfway to our full goal💜 Our full goal is $795 to cover the cats’ food needed for a whole month.

We have until October 10 to reach the $150 goal and unlock the full match.

Every donation helps us get closer to the finish line!

Let’s get there together. 🥹

🐾 70 CATS. ONE MONTH OF FOOD. 🐾

These are some of the faces behind our food fund. 💜

Right now, we have 27 kittens and 43 adult cats in our care — and they all really need your support immediately as the food gets out of stock very fast .. especially the kitten food and we need to secure the little babies.

Currently, We are completely out of kitten food, and the adult food we have left will only last 2 more days.

For this month, we need:

🐱 27 bags of kitten food (45,000 ugx / 12$ per one bag of 1.5 kg) —
🐱 10 bags of adult food (190,000 ugx / 49$ per one bag of 10 kg) —

🎯 Total food goal: 3,115,000 UGX / 795$

That’s for 70 little and big bellies, 70 souls who are counting on us, and a whole lot of bowls to fill.

If you’d like to help us get this month’s food, any contribution helps us move closer to the goal. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this post is also a way to help. 🤍

Let’s keep their bowls full.
One bag at a time. One belly at a time. 🐾

Meet Rain. 🌧️🤍

An old man brought this little one to us after his mama passed away (few days ago). He had been left without her, and knowing he couldn’t properly care for a young kitten on his own, he chose to look for help instead of simply leaving him to fend for himself.

We even asked him if he would want Rain back once he was better, but he told us he couldn’t look after him because he isn’t always home.

And honestly, you can tell this little boy was loved. 🥹

Rain came with an eye infection and has been sneezing a little, which points to a URI, so we’re getting him the care he needs, you can tell by his pics today that he is getting better.

But what really gets us is how much he craves people, He cries for human touch, wants attention, wants to be held, spoken to and reminded that he is not alone anymore. 🥺

We named him Rain because, almost as if the sky was marking the beginning of his new chapter, it rained right after we took him in. 🌧️

His story began with loss, but we hope this is where it begins to change.

Welcome to Cat Cradle, little Rain.
You are safe now. 🤍🐾

If you would like to sponsor RAIN or contribute to his care.. please reach out to us.
