Sauba’s story is one of contrasts. Abandoned as a toddler, she learned early that the world could be a harsh and unforgiving place. Left to fend for herself on the dusty streets, she developed a toughness that served as a shield, protecting her from the pain of being unwanted.
But Sauba’s story is also one of resilience. Despite the hardships, she found ways to thrive. She scavenged for food, learned to navigate the complexities of street life, and discovered a fierce determination that would carry her through the darkest days.
At our orphanage, Sauba found a new lease on life. She was given a bed, regular meals, and most importantly, love and attention from caregivers who saw beyond her rough exterior to the vulnerable child within. Slowly, she began to open up, sharing stories of her past and embracing the joys of childhood.
Sauba’s laughter is infectious, her smile a ray of sunshine that brightens even the gloomiest of days. She’s curious, always eager to learn, and has a natural aptitude for art and music. With the right support, she’s flourishing, her talents and personality shining through in ways she never thought possible.
