In Uganda, too many families go to bed hungry. Nearly 1 in 3 households struggles with food insecurity, and millions of girls are forced to drop out of school or marry too early just to survive.

Ensuring safe and clean drinking water for our communities! 💧

Yesterday we carried out H₂O turbidity and pH measurements, followed by chlorination procedures to guarantee water safety and quality. This hands on field assessment is a crucial step in protecting families from waterborne diseases and promoting healthier communities.

Grateful for the collaboration and dedication of our partners ,UWASNET, Living Water, Food for the Hungry, Busoga Trust, and Evidence Action who continue to champion access to safe water across Uganda.

Today, Motherly Heart Foundation joined the national commemoration at Kitezi Church of Uganda Grounds under the theme:
“Access to Mental Health Services: Improving Mental Well-being in Emergencies and Catastrophes.”

This year’s theme deeply resonates with our community. Many victims of the Kiteezi tragedy continue to face emotional and psychological challenges after the loss of their loved ones, homes, and properties. Their experiences remind us that mental health care is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right for all.

At Motherly Heart Foundation, we remain dedicated to standing with survivors, raising awareness, and bringing hope and healing where it’s needed most.

Though the pain of loss still lingers, the strength of community and compassion shines even brighter. Together, we continue to walk hand in hand toward healing, promoting understanding, care, and access to mental health services for everyone.

✨ Partnership in Action ✨

We are excited to share that Motherly Heart Foundation has received a generous donation of 50 copies of Empire Mind from Bold Minds Africa. The books were officially handed over by Christine Nadunga, CEO of Bold Minds Africa, and received by the Founder of Motherly Heart Foundation.

This is a pupil of Acherer Primary School, sitting in class with his saucepan waiting for what may be his only meal of the day.

This image is more than a moment captured. It is a call for help.

Children like him are facing more than just hunger. They lack school materials, clothes, shoes, clean water, and even the basic dignity every child deserves. Yet, despite it all, they show up ready to learn, to hope, and to dream.

We cannot do everything, but each of us can do something. Whatever you have,books, clothes, utensils, or funds ,it can make a difference in the life of a child.

Let’s not wait for “enough.” Give what you can, with what you have, from where you are.

Together, we can bring hope to Acherer and many other schools like it.
