Under the Campaign we were able to participate in the Update process of the Uganda National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan. Ahead of COP 16, Uganda aims to submit the Updated NBSAP that aligns with the Goals and targets of the Kunming Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

💪🏽This initiative by , .unfccc, deserves your attention!

While many groups are pushing NbS forward, many are also pushing against it, citing serious and important concerns with how and where the term is being used and by who. Missing in all of this is a united youth voice🤷🏽‍♀️, across both climate and biological communities, that clearly outlines how the global youth community understands Nbs, and what is acceptable, and not acceptable within such approaches.

During the Just Concluded Consultation Workshop on the Updated Zero Draft Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework and Intergenerational Dialogue. Rallying Youth Voices on Biodiversity. Youth as a stakeholder need to be engaged entirely to join the Fight to halt the loss of Biodiversity. We need to stop the same and acknowledge that biodiversity rocks.
