Our project, “Agricultural Education That Works,” has received its first donation through GlobalGiving!
We invite you to be part of the cause to support our 14 Poetry X Hunger Clubs across secondary schools in Uganda, Kenya and South Sudan to establish practical agribusiness, and innovation projects, donate here: https://lnkd.in/ehfXrd-D
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support approximately 14 schools in strengthening practical, school-based agricultural education. This will include teacher training and capacity building, supporting schools to establish practical learner led agribusiness and innovation projects to give students more opportunities to learn agriculture by doing.
In this campaign, we hope to reach more than 5,000 young people through our Poetry X Hunger Clubs across 14 schools in Uganda, Kenya and south Sudan with hands on skills that can help them explore agribusiness opportunities in agriculture for income generation, job creation and livelihoods.
We are especially grateful for this first contribution. Beyond the financial support, it represents something deeply meaningful to us: someone saw the vision, believed in the work, and chose to take the first step with us. 💚
