We were honored to host Pastor Ruth Wanjiku from Kenya, who visited us and toured our coffee garden.

We took time to share with her and she expressed her appreciation for the Coffee 4 Us project vision of sustaining and empowering families through coffee.

We are grateful for her encouragement on this journey.

What a joy to see our first five acres of coffee beginning to flower this season. Beyond the beauty of these blossoms lies a deeper story every plant represents hope, restoration, and the future of families in our community.

Through Penner Ministries and Coffee 4Us , our desire is not just to grow coffee, but to grow opportunities. We believe every harvest can break cycles of poverty, empower education, and bring dignity back to families.

This flowering is more than nature’s rhythm it’s God’s reminder that He blesses the work of our hands when we labor in faith.

Growing hope in Uganda!
Empowering families, one coffee tree at a time is taking root at our Coffee 4Us demonstration farm in Mubende! Our young Robusta coffee plants are growing strong, thanks to improved spacing, mulching, and continuous care. Each plant is a step closer to providing dignity and independence for vulnerable families. Stay tuned for more updates!

Our Story

This birthed into Penner Child Care Foundation Ministries which present day serves orphans, vulnerable children, poor families and communities in the Kampala, Northern and western part of Uganda

My names are Turyatunga Felex. I am 23 years old from Uganda Africa. I was born in a polygamous family where my daddy had over 14 children and 4 wives. I was 4 years old when my dad abandoned us and left us alone with our mother, with no one to help. Our mother had no money to take me to school and to feed us. Our Dad would come home for only mistreating us and fighting with our mother.

Everyday life was a mess. Our mother also left us alone because of my dad afflictions toward her. This marked the beginning of another life story full of suffering as like an orphan and vulnerability as a child. Following this life experience I realized all I went through was base line training of giving back hope, love, and care to children and people in similar life experiences. The dream of helping orphans kept burning inside my heart for years.

In June 2016, I started helping two boys who were street children back to school and doing met Maria Penner from Manitoba and I shared my vision with her and her husband Isaac Penner.
