The Calling Foundation is a Christian faith based foundation, not for profit making but for development and relief working to help vulnerable, orphans to know Christ and be empowered in life-serving skills so that they can be self-reliant. The Calling Foundation Uganda was formed in 2018 working to help the vulnerable and orphans in Ugandan communities to achieve lasting solutions to the effects o
f absolute poverty. The foundation has a catching radius extending from urban to rural areas of Uganda. The foundation programs include;
(1) Educating the vulnerable children and orphans. (2) Providing shelter to the vulnerable children and orphans i.e frosting them in
our foster homes. (3) Providing clean water to the vulnerable children and orphans i.e construction
of Bore holes in there community. (4) Empowering projects in vulnerable poor/needy and orphans. OUR BACKGROUND:
Due to the alarming number of the vulnerable children and orphans in Ugandan communities, it was realized that a more organized means to curb the emergent problems of the vulnerable children, needy, poor and orphans be formed. It was from this view that "THE CALLING FOUNDATION UGANDA" was formed. OUR VISION & MISSION:
Our Mission; To raise money and support international and domestic adoptions, orphanages, education and programs that benefit vulnerable, unprivileged children not leaving out those children with special needs. To promote Christian, international understanding, co-operation and friendship by encouraging and enabling Christian volunteers to offer practical help and skills in response to requests from disadvantaged areas of UGANDA. OUR VISION:
To uplift the living standards of the vulnerable children and orphans by making them to know JESUS CHRIST and making them become self-reliant. OUR GOALS:
Sustainable education for vulnerable Children and orphans in order to make them meaningful and responsible members of the community. GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
To contribute more directly to National, Economic and Social development by eradicating absolute poverty among vulnerable Children, orphans and others in need. FOUNDATION OBJECTIVES:
> To let the vulnerable Children and orphans learn and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior.
> To provide health care to vulnerable Children and orphans.
> To provide education to the vulnerable Children and orphans.
> To provide empowerment projects to vulnerable people.
> To foster the orphans into our foster homes.
> To provide psycho-social counseling to vulnerable people, orphans and victims of war especially those from the Northern part of Uganda.
